– Mondial Extrafine (100% merino wool, 50 g – 175 m 1.75 oz – 191 yards) – 50 g 1.75 oz – in Contrasting Color.
– circular knitting needles 2.0 mm US0 and 3.00 mm US2.5 or other appropriate size to obtain gauge;
– stitch markers, tapestry needle.

Gauge:
34 sts and 35 rows/rounds = 10×10 cm 4×4 in, in stockinette stitch, on 3 mm US2.5 needles, after blocking.
