Hermione Dress Knitting Pattern

The Hermione dress is worked in one piece from the neck down.

Sizes available:
12 mos; 18–24 mos (3 yrs; 4 yrs; 5 yrs) (6–7 yrs; 8–9 yrs; 10–12 yrs)

You will need:
- yarn: Madelinetosh Tosh DK (100% merino
wool, 100 g / 206 m)
- circular knitting needles 3.5 mm (US4) and
4 mm (US6), or other size to obtain gauge
- 8 stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle,
stitch holders, additional needle or additional
cable/auxiliary thread for holding.

Gauge:
23 sts and 27 rows/rounds = 10×10 cm (4×4″),
in st st, with 4 mm (US6) needles, after blocking.

Total yarn:
12 months - 250 g (8.8 oz)
18 – 24 months - 280 g (9.9 oz)
3 years - 300 g (10.58 oz)
4 years - 320 g (11.3 oz)
5 years - 350 g (12.35 oz)
6–7 years - 400 g (14.11 oz)
8–9 years - 450 g (15.9 oz)
10–12 years - 500 g (17.64 oz)
