“Story of Hope” top is worked from the bottom up in one piece in the round. The lace pattern of the bottom border smoothly flows into the lace side inserts. At armhole level, work is divided into Front and Back, which are finished separately, shoulder seams are joined using the three-needle bind-off method.

- XS-21 20/2 Linen Habu Textiles (100% linen, 698 m / 99 g [763 yds / 3.5 oz]) – yarn 1;
- Asa ITO (72% linen, 18% cotton, 10% silk; 225 m / 25 g [246 yds / 0.88 oz]) – yarn 2;
- circular knitting needles 2.75 mm [US2] or other appropriate size to obtain gauge;
- stitch markers;
- stitch holder, spare circular, extra cords or a piece of auxiliary yarn.
